Jennifer Almquist, CPA, IRC, FSA
Founder
Mrs. Almquist has more than 20 years of finance, communications and public disclosure experience including investor relations, external financial reporting, corporate finance and accounting. Since founding Ivy Street Advisory in 2010, she has worked with micro cap, small cap and mid cap companies across a wide variety of industries, including high tech, mining, oil and gas, telecom, technology, manufacturing, financial payments, and more. Before founding Ivy Street Advisory, Mrs. Almquist was the Director of Investor Relations and SEC Reporting for Crocs, where she assisted the company in regaining credibility with Wall Street through proactive, transparent, timely and consistent financial disclosure during the company’s 2009/2010 turnaround. Prior to Crocs, Mrs. Almquist served in a variety of investor relations and SEC Reporting roles at various Colorado public companies, including StarTek, TeleTech, Coors Brewing Company and MacDermid, where she gained a well-rounded, comprehensive understanding of public financial disclosure, integrated external communications, and SEC and stock market regulation.
Mrs. Almquist began her career as an auditor in the Denver office of Deloitte and Touche. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado, an Investor Relations Charter (IRC) holder, a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder and a member of both the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the AICPA. She currently serves on NIRI’s IRC Examination Scheme Committee, having previously served on the IRC Examination Development Committee. She also served as Vice President and Communications Chair for NIRI’s Rocky Mountain Chapter from 2013 to 2017 and won the individual chapter leadership award from NIRI in 2016 in recognition of outstanding service to the chapter during her tenure.
Mrs. Almquist earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado.
